This policy explains the cookies and browser storage used by Sprite Sheet Maker. It should be read with the Privacy Policy.

1. Essential session cookie

• Purpose: authenticates your account and protects signed-in requests.
• Type: first-party, essential, HTTP-only session cookie.
• Duration: up to 14 days, or earlier when you sign out or the session is revoked.
• Control: required for authenticated features. Blocking it prevents account features from working.

2. Consent preference storage

• Purpose: records analytics and marketing choices and the date of the choice.
• Type: first-party local storage, not a cookie.
• Duration: remains until you clear this site's browser data.
• Control: use the Cookie preferences panel when displayed or clear site data in your browser to reset the choice.

3. Google sign-in

Google Identity Services is loaded to provide Google account authentication. Google may receive IP address, browser information, the page requesting sign-in, and Google cookies already present in your browser. Google sign-in is used for account authentication and is separate from advertising personalisation.

4. Analytics and advertising

Optional analytics and advertising tags are not currently active. If Google advertising or another optional provider is enabled, it may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, and other identifiers to measure activity, prevent fraud, or serve ads. Optional technology must follow the consent choice recorded for the applicable category.

If Google advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use advertising cookies to serve ads based on visits to this and other websites. You can manage personalised ads through Google Ads Settings.

5. Managing browser storage

You can delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Deleting the session cookie signs you out. Deleting the consent record causes the Cookie consent panel to appear again on a later page load.

6. Changes

We will update this policy when a storage technology, provider, purpose, or retention period changes.
