Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to Sprite Sheet Maker. By creating an account, purchasing credits or a subscription, or using the generation service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement in your location. You are responsible for the activity performed through your account and for maintaining control of your Google account and active sessions. Provide accurate account and billing information and notify us promptly of unauthorised use.

2. Service

Sprite Sheet Maker provides tools for creating, generating, previewing, storing, and exporting character animation assets. Features, supported formats, generation providers, processing times, and credit costs may change as the service develops. We may perform maintenance or limit access when required for security, reliability, or legal compliance.

3. Credits and generation charges

• The credit cost displayed before generation applies when a generation job starts.
• If a generation job fails before producing the requested result, the reserved credits are returned automatically.
• Subscription credits are used before permanent credits purchased through a credit pack.
• Subscription credits can roll over only up to the balance cap displayed for the active plan. Amounts above that cap may expire when the next allowance is added.
• Permanent credits purchased through a one-time credit pack do not expire while the account remains active.
• Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred between accounts, and cannot be exchanged for cash except through an approved refund required by our policy or applicable law.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Subscriptions renew automatically for the billing interval shown at checkout until cancelled. Stripe processes payments. Upgrades may take effect immediately and may include a prorated charge shown by Stripe before confirmation. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal date, preserve the current paid benefits until then, and do not produce a prorated cash refund or account credit.

You may cancel automatic renewal through the available account or Stripe billing controls. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period. Cancelling or downgrading does not automatically refund the unused portion of the current billing period. Approved refund requests are reviewed and processed manually in accordance with our Refund Policy and applicable law.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of source material you upload. You grant Sprite Sheet Maker and its service providers a limited licence to host, copy, transmit, process, modify, and generate derivatives from that material only as needed to provide, secure, and support the service.

You must own or have sufficient permission to use every image, character, trademark, prompt, and other input you submit. Do not upload confidential information or material that you are not authorised to provide to an AI generation service.

6. Generated assets and commercial use

Paid plans and paid credit packs include the commercial-use permission described on the pricing page for generated assets, subject to these Terms and any rights belonging to third parties. Free access does not include that commercial licence unless the pricing page expressly states otherwise.

AI-generated results may resemble existing material, may not be unique, and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing outputs and determining whether your intended publication, trademark registration, sale, or other use is lawful and appropriate.

7. Acceptable use

You must follow the Content Policy. You may not use the service for unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, exploitative, privacy-invasive, or security-threatening activity; interfere with the service; evade rate or credit limits; resell account access; or use automated access unless an authorised API expressly permits it.

8. Intellectual property

The website, product interface, software, documentation, branding, and service technology remain owned by Sprite Sheet Maker or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of those materials. Feedback may be used to improve the service without restriction or payment.

9. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or terminate access when an account violates these Terms, creates legal or security risk, abuses the service, or fails to pay amounts due. You may stop using the service and delete your account through account settings. Account deletion is permanent and may cancel an active subscription.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of uninterrupted availability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the extent permitted by law, Sprite Sheet Maker is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service or generated assets.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms when the service or legal requirements change. The revision date identifies the current version. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.
